Women Who WP Meetup – May Recap
Last Wednesday’s Women Who WP received rave reviews!

This comment came from newcomer Gwenny, who found our group from Meetup.com, and perfectly summarizes the energy felt in the room this past Wednesday.
We were fortunate enough to have WordPress veteran, Suzette Franck, travel down from Los Angeles to inspire us with her WordPress story. She spoke on how following your passion will guide your skill set. Suzette reminded us to ask ourselves the question, “What do you want to learn?” Once that is answered she encouraged that each attendee “go after your passions and improve your HTML, CSS, and WordPress skills.”
We met at the Need Someone To Blog conference room as they sponsored the catered meal from Stonefire Grill.
We had a great group of 15 women (mainly entrepreneurs) from diverse backgrounds including baking, real estate, and footware distribution. The women had between 0 days and 20 years of experience but that didn’t stop the conversation, learning, or inspiration. Listening to people tell how they’ve taken nuggets of wisdom from previous sessions and recounted their success was a highlight of the night!
Our next Meetup is June 15 and we’d love to see you there.
